County Web Link

Between Lake Ontario and the Trent-Severn Waterway is Northumberland's four season outdoor wonderland and Northumberland is also part of the Central Ontario Loop Trail which brings 5 counties together to form one large trail.

Northumberland and District ATV Riders Club have been petitioning the 7 municipalities of Northumberland County to pass a by-law to allow atv's access to municipal roads.  We have been successful in getting the support of 2 of the municipalities and having a by-law established on a one year trial.  We wish to thank all of the supporters in our efforts and ask that everyone adheres to the by-law as safe and responsible ATV 'ers.  A copy of the by-law is available on our website, please have the diligence to take the time and review it.

We are still working hard with the remaining Northumberland municipalities.  We still need your support and your voice. This by-law benefits both members and non-members alike.   Below is a link to an online petition which will be presented to each of the municipalities as well as Northumberland County as a whole. If you would like to see this by-law passed please sign the petition and forward the link to anyone else you know who may be interested.
