Year 2012 in Review

In 2012, NDATV was once again active in trail maintenance by clearing trees that fell on our trails, putting up trail signs, participating in the annual Mayor’s Garbage Cleanup Challenge and upgrading the Lizzy Bridge entrance on the north side to accommodate our side by side ATV riders who found it difficult to enter the bridge smoothly from the north.

In April, Dan trained four new wardens to help patrol our trails and in June , Mike T. taught four members on how to use a GPS.

The Northumberland District ATV Riders Club held their annual fundraising ride for the Northumberland Food for Thought Student Nutrition Program on May 26, 2012 raising a total of $3,281.56 that day.

NDATV participated in the Grafton Christmas Parade and won the Milk Can Award for the best float in the parade!

2012 was also the year the NDATV board voted to look into acquiring a NDATV Clubhouse and re-designed the NDATV logo.
