Year 2013 in Review

In 2013, NDATV was once again active in trail maintenance by clearing trees that fell on our trails, putting up trail signs and participating in the annual Earth Day Mayor’s Garbage Cleanup Challenge. We scheduled a CPR course and once again Mike T. taught members on how to use GPS.

In June 2013 Northumberland District ATV Riders Club donated a Garmin GPS, mounting system, topographical maps and NDATV trail maps to both Alnwick/Haldimand Township and Cramahe Township Fire Departments. NDATV Vice President Mike T. provided GPS training to six fire officials.

We held a Potluck Supper and Euchre Tournament and Landowner thank you night. This was the year that the NDATV Clubhouse was delivered and placed in it’s designated spot. We also collected toys for the Northumberland Giving Tree again. We also had a member represent NDATV in the Polar Dip!

In this year, NDATV held six Director meetings, two General Membership Meetings, five mid week rides and nine event rides including our Scavenger Hunt, Pancake Breakfast, and Poker Runs.

Year 2012 in Review

In April, Dan trained four new wardens to help patrol our trails and in June , Mike T. taught four members on how to use a GPS.

The Northumberland District ATV Riders Club held their annual fundraising ride for the Northumberland Food for Thought Student Nutrition Program on May 26, 2012 raising a total of $3,281.56 that day.

NDATV participated in the Grafton Christmas Parade and won the Milk Can Award for the best float in the parade!
