PROMOTING SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE RIDING

NDATV TRAIL PATROL 2010

This season we will commence our trail patrolling program. Volunteers are presently undergoing trail patrol training to prepare to be out on the trail for this coming riding season. We are putting in place trail signage ,purchased with club memberships and trail pass funds, indicating that ALL ATV's are required to have a trail pass while riding NDATV trails. This signage will also include trail markers to help greater your atv riding experience while riding NDATV trails.
Please be prepared to stop when approaching one of these checkpoints, for your own safety and the safety of the patrollers. Be prepared to produce your trail pass. If you do not have a trail pass trail patrollers will have them available to acquire.

Our trail patrollers are ambassadors representing the NDATV club, landowners with whom we have landowners agreements with, and the sport of atv riding.

YOUTH RIDER ATV SAFETY INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
On March 28th 2009, members of the Northumberland District ATV Riders Club and the Kawartha ATV Association underwent a training course to become youth ATV rider safety instructors. The objective of the program being launched is to meet with area youths, through school programs and various club sessions, and teach them ATV rider safety and education.
