On Tuesday December 27th the Northumberland District ATV Riders Club hosted their annual year end ride. It was a great ride with 48 bikes in total and several riders that came from out of town. The hot food afterward was awesome. Thanks to all the NDATV members who gave their time to set up and run the ride and to those who prepared and cooked the food!

On Saturday December 10th the Northumberland District ATV Riders Club hosted their monthly ride. We started from the clubhouse and travelled on our own ATV trails with a mixture of loop 1 and 2 trails. We stopped for lunch near the river, just north and east of the Lizzie’s bridge area. We had 17 ATV’s and 19 riders attend this event including riders from the OFATV, Thousand Islands ATV Club, ATV Club of Eastern Ontario, Renfrew ATV Club, and Nation Valley ATV Club. It was great to have other club members attend this ride enjoying mostly snow covered trails. Most puddles were frozen, with only a few of the deeper ones broken up, but still having ice chunks floating. It was a full day logging 95 km with a few stops to get to know our guest riders, sharing info and stories of other areas of the province.

During our General meeting on October 15th and on our November 20th ride NDATV members donated a new unwrapped toy for this years Giving Tree drive. On Tuesday November 22nd Dan And Mike A. submitted our club’s donation to the Giving Tree volunteers.
Thanks to all our members for their contribution. A child will have a better Christmas this year because of your generosity.
We had a good turn out with 16 ATVs and side by sides and 18 riders brave enough to take this chilly ride. We even had snow on this ride to Lizzy’s Bridge. Thanks to all the riders who donated a Christmas toy before the ride for the Northumberland Giving Tree.
